Abstract
This article paves the way for a possible theorization of business creation in a context characterized by witchcraft. Indeed, this article proposes a construction of the conceptual whole that underpins representations of the association between witchcraft and business creation in Africa. This construction shows the moments of alternation between the beneficial force that helps the creation of a business and the evil magic force that prevents it. These moments show a period when the two forces are neutralized, thus allowing the creation of a business.
